CINCINNATI (February 28, 2024) – The Christ Hospital has been recognized as one of Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2024 List. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The Christ Hospital Health Network was also recognized as a global leader for infection prevention and safety satisfaction.
The Christ Hospital specifically ranked 78 out of more than 400 hospitals in the United States and was the highest ranked hospital in Greater Cincinnati. You can find the full list on Newsweek’s website here.

Newsweek and Statista developed a complex methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Four data sources were used for the evaluation:
•Hospital recommendations from Medical Experts: More than 85,000 doctors, hospital managers and healthcare professional provided recommendations through an international online survey.
•Patient Experience: Surveys of patient satisfaction with hospitals & the quality of care the patient received.
•Patient Reported Outcome Measures: Standardized & validated questionnaires from hospitals regarding their Patient Reported Outcome Measures.
•Hospital Quality Metrics: Data on quality of care, hygiene measures and staffing.
The World’s Best Hospitals 2024 List recognizes the best medical institutions across 30 countries: USA, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Brazil, Canada, India, Australia, Mexico, The Netherlands, Austria, Thailand, Switzerland, Sweden, Belgium, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Israel, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Chile and Malaysia.
