Local healthcare consumers have rated The Christ Hospital as the most preferred hospital and the Consumer Choice for healthcare in the Cincinnati market, which includes southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana. The award criteria are based on four consumer metrics: best overall quality, best image and reputation, best doctors and best nurses. The rankings are featured in Modern Healthcare magazine.

The Christ Hospital named by Becker’s Hospital Review among "100 Great Hospitals in America," a compilation of some of the most prominent, forward-thinking and focused healthcare facilities in the nation. Hospitals included on the list are home to many medical and scientific breakthroughs, provide best-in-class patient care and are stalwarts of their communities, serving as academic hubs or local mainstays. To develop the list, Becker's Hospital Review's editorial team conducted research, considered nominations and evaluated reputable hospital ranking sources, such as U.S. News & World Report, Truven Health Analytics' 100 Top Hospitals, Healthgrades, Magnet designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, The Leapfrog Group and several other resources.

The Christ Hospital received the Get With The Guidelines®–Heart Failure Gold Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association. The recognition signifies that The Christ Hospital has achieved at least two years of 85% or higher adherence to the guidelines of care recommended by the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology.

The Christ Hospital has been named one of the nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics, formerly Thomson Reuters. The study examined the performance of more than 1,000 hospitals by analyzing outcomes for patients with heart failure, heart attacks, and those who received coronary bypass surgery and percutaneous coronary interventions. This is the 9th time The Christ Hospital has been recognized with this honor.

The Christ Hospital has been selected as one of the nation’s 25 Best Practices in Patient and Family Engagement by the Caregiver Action Network. The program recognizes innovative efforts to work with patients and families to improve healthcare quality, safety and cost savings.​

​The Christ Hospital was a 2013 Recipient of the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence™ by Healthgrades. Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence are hospitals rated in the top 5% in the nation with the lowest risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates across 27 common conditions and procedures. Patients have a lower chance of dying at Healthgrades Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence compared to all other hospitals. What differentiates these hospitals from the rest is while many hospitals have specific areas of expertise and high-quality outcomes for some conditions and procedures, these hospitals exhibit comprehensive and consistent quality across a range of conditions and procedures.
