As a Top 50 heart hospital, and recipient of the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline Quality Achievement Award, The Christ Hospital is known for excellence in the timely treatment of heart attacks. We offer our patients innovative life-saving treatments and cutting-edge technology. 

Emergency heart attack care

We want to decrease the death rate for heart attacks, not just in our community, but also in our region. We created The Christ Hospital Chest Pain Network to collaborate with area hospitals and emergency medical personnel to provide high-quality care to every patient in Greater Cincinnati and the region's outlying communities.

The Christ Hospital Chest Pain Network strives to:

• Decrease our community's heart attack death rates

• Enhance coordination and collaboration between emergency medical services (EMS) and local healthcare providers

• Significantly decrease the time between heart attack diagnosis and in-hospital treatment

• Implement best practice guidelines for heart attack patients at all partnering institutions

• Increase collaboration with emergency services in our region

The Christ Hospital is an accredited Chest Pain Center

The Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care is an international not-for-profit organization. It works to transform cardiovascular care by helping create communities of excellence among hospital systems. We encourage more hospitals to seek SCPCP accreditation as Chest Pain Centers, and partner with us as members of the Chest Pain Network.
