Adult Cardiology Fellowship Program at The Christ Hospital
Exceptional Training and Experience at a Distinguished Heart Hospital
The Christ Hospital Adult Cardiology Fellowship offers comprehensive hands-on and didactic training in cardiovascular disease, with an emphasis on helping fellows develop fundamental skills and the ability to serve patients with compassion and respect. We hope to produce cardiologists who have a lifelong passion for meeting the needs of the diverse communities they serve.
Teaching is central to our mission. Our curriculum gives fellows broad clinical exposure to acute and chronic cardiovascular care, as well as extensive experience in non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures. The program’s world-class faculty of 20+ cardiovascular specialists provides comprehensive training in all cardiovascular subspecialties, including cardiovascular imaging, cardiac catheterization, structural heart disease, adult congenital heart disease, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, critical care, women’s heart disease, preventative heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, and advanced heart-failure (including LVAD and heart transplant). Clinical research opportunities are available for fellows starting in their first year. Fellows will also have access to a simulation lab for Echo, TEE and Cardiac Catherterization.
As providers with The Christ Hospital Heart Vascular Institute, our faculty world class cardiac care. Among their many awards and recognitions of distinction are:
The Christ Hospital Health Network being the top hospital in the Greater Cincinnati Region according to U.S. News & World Report
The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Insitute being recognized as one of the top cardiac hospitals in the nation according to Healthgrades and U.S. News & World Report

Our three-year, ACGME-accredited program fosters an environment rich in collegiality and support. Fellows will be paired with a mentor from our faculty, who provides guidance and support throughout the training experience. We provide supply trainees with the resources they need to maintain their physical and mental well-being, including a wellness program and on-site gym. Social events offer opportunities for faculty members and fellows to connect on a more personal level.
