Jeffrey K. Wu, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating foot and ankle injuries and disorders, including foot and ankle arthritis, Achilles tendon disorders, flatfoot deformities and plantar fasciitis. Dr. Wu is skilled at treating both day-to-day injuries and sprains as well as chronic foot and ankle conditions and deformities.
Eager to know his patients beyond their case files, Dr. Wu strives to learn something unique about his patients’ lives during each appointment. “I love finding out interesting facts about my patients and taking time to hear their stories,” he says.
Dr. Wu earned his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University before completing medical school at The Ohio State University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Indiana University and his foot and ankle fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic.
As a Cincinnati native and graduate of Sycamore High School, he was thrilled to return home to join The Christ Hospital Physicians, where he currently sees patients at Red Bank, Montgomery, Anderson and Liberty Township.
A proponent of non-surgical treatment for many issues, Dr. Wu is also highly adept in implementing a broad range of foot and ankle reconstructive procedures when necessary. He strives to individualize treatment plans to best meet the needs of his patient’s activity level and overall health.
A former faculty member at Indiana University and the Cleveland Clinic Florida, Dr. Wu is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
Outside of work, Dr. Wu enjoys spending time with his wife, who is a nurse, and their three young children. When he has the time, he loves to cook and try out new recipes. He is also an avid musician who is skilled at playing piano, cello and guitar.
