Dr. Heberling earned her bachelor degree in biomedical engineering, graduating Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and served as chief resident. Dr. Heberling also completed medical acupuncture for physicians training at Helms Medical Institute, an affiliate of UCLA.
She is a diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and has served as an oral board examiner. She holds an additional specialty board certification of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a former member of the Ohio Chapter of American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and the Association of Academic Physiatrists.
Dr. Heberling has extensive clinical experience in musculoskeletal medicine, including muscle and joint injections, acupuncture, Botox injections, and conservative spine care. Currently she is exclusively performing electrodiagnostic procedures (EMG).
