Dr. Melton received her bachelor's of science degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton and her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati Family Medicine Residency Program.

She is a recipient of the Marjorie Grad Vockell, MD, Humanism Award and was named to the Gold Humanism Honor Society in 2010.

Dr. Melton is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Her special interests include women's health, holistic care and healthy aging.
