Dr. Allen earned her bachelor's degree in human nutrition, graduating magna cum laude from The Ohio State University. She then earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, where she also completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency.
Dr. Allen is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, such as the V. Bradley Roberts Memorial award from The Christ Hospital Obstetrics & Gynecology Department for her outstanding ability in operative gynecology. She was also named Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology from The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
She is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Allen is committed to staying up to date on the latest research and practicing evidence-based medicine. In her free time, she enjoys teaching, exercising, traveling, spending time outdoors, and sharing time with her husband and son.
