Dr. Delamerced is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He received his medical degree from the University of Philippines College of Medicine in Manila. He completed his internship at the University of Philippines/Philippine General Hospital, and his residency at Nassau County Medical Center in New York.
Born near Boston, Dr. Delamerced was raised in Philippines after his parents returned there upon completing their graduate studies in Boston and New York. He returned to New York for his internal medicine training at SUNY-Storybook, where he met his future wife. He came to Cincinnati more than 20 years ago.
In addition to Dr. Delamerced's regular office hours, he continues to admit at The Christ Hospital and is also able to provide continuity of care at certain nursing homes located on the west side of Cincinnati. He also mentors UC College of Medicine students at his office and at the homeless shelter clinic.
He values the holistic nature of internal medicine because it allows him to treat his patients both physically and emotionally. He also appreciates the long term commitment and relationships he has developed with his patients and their families.
Dr. Delamerced and his wife reside with their three children.
