Dr. Sorger received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1987 from the University of Richmond, Richmond VA. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his orthopaedic residency at The Uniersity of Cincinnati, College of Medicine in 1993.
Dr. Sorger is one of few Orthopaedic Oncologists in the state of Ohio alone. Dr. Sorger's work with tumors includes Ewing's Sarcoma, Osteosarcoma, and other malignancies that involve the musculoskeletal system. Today he divides his work not only with oncology patients, but also with those needing general orthopaedic surgery including total joint replacement.
Dr. Sorger was born and raised in New Jersey and now resides in Montgomery with his wife, Kathy, and their three children. As a training professor, Dr. Sorger continues to teach the future of Orthopaedic Surgeons to come.
