Edward Chang, MD, grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University where he graduated magna cum laude with honors in liberal arts with a Bachelor of Science in microbiology. He then attended the University of Cincinnati College Of Medicine and did his residency at The Christ Hospital. The most rewarding part of being a physician to him is seeing positive changes in people's lives and developing long-term relationships with his patients. He also enjoys the problem-solving aspects of being an internist.
Dr. Chang's choice of a career was heavily influenced by his father who has a PhD in biochemistry and his mother who was a nurse, both of whom have always encouraged him to excel academically. Dr. Chang is very proud to have an older brother who is a physician as well.
In his spare time, Dr. Chang enjoys working out, collecting vinyl records, and reading about historic military aircraft.
