Rachel Grove, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care who specializes in internal medicine and provides care for patients 16 and older at the Miami Township location.
She was inspired to pursue a career in medicine when she recognized a need for compassionate healthcare workers dedicated to treating patients with dignity and respect and to helping them be their own advocates. She adds that every patient deserves respect regardless of their stage in life or what they are currently going through. This inspiration has driven her approach to providing care, which also involves a commitment to taking a team approach with her patients. “I like to have a holistic view of my patients and use shared decision making to ensure they are comfortable with the plans we create for them,” Rachel says.
Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts from Cedarville University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Gardner-Webb University where she is proud to have received the Leadership Award for her graduating class. She is certified by the National Board on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
When not providing care, Rachel enjoys visiting local festivals, sporting events, and restaurants with her family. Their favorite restaurant choices involve trying homemade guacamole or fried Brussel sprouts. She also likes to travel, read, hike, enjoy the outdoors, play with her dog, and spend time with her family.
