Heather Hoffmann, RN, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Pulmonology, who brings extensive experience in providing acute and critical care.
Heather has had a lifelong interest in medicine and in helping others, which led her to pursue a career in nursing. Extensive experience as a registered nurse providing care to heart and intensive care surgical patients led to a desire to increase her knowledge and pursue an advanced degree and become a nurse practitioner. Her care philosophy is centered on helping others by building relationships with her patients and working with them as a team to achieve their optimal health and wellbeing.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from West Virginia University, an Associate in Science in Nursing from St. Mary’s School of Nursing at Marshall University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Christ College of Nursing and Health Science, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from The University of Cincinnati. She is board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling with her husband, working out, cooking, reading, music and attending sporting events.
