Elise Chambers, MD is an internal medicine physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians - Primary Care. She provides comprehensive medical care and management for adult patients (18+).
Dr. Chambers graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State University. She was a member of the honorary society Phi Beta Kappa. She was a Health Professions Scholarship recipient with the United States Air Force and earned her medical degree from the University of New Mexico. She completed her internship in family medicine at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
After her service in the Air Force, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Chambers believes that building relationships with patients and families is the heart of primary care. She enjoys helping patients work through challenges and making long lasting, positive impacts on their health. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Ohio State Medical Association.
Dr. Chambers is a decorated Air Force veteran. Her service included deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as an overseas tour in Japan. Her military honors include the Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Air Force Overseas Ribbon Long Tour.
A lifelong piano player, Dr. Chambers has a deep appreciation for the fine arts. She and her family enjoy taking in the many music art experiences that Cincinnati has to offer. Dr. Chambers is an avid traveler, having visited or lived in 17 countries (and counting). She is fluent in conversational Spanish.
