Jeremy Johnson, MD, is a family medicine physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care. He provides comprehensive medical care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Dr. Johnston was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by the doctors who cared for him growing up. Today, he focuses on providing evidence-based care and treating each patient with the same level of care he expects for his own family. “Evidence-based medicine is the cornerstone of modern medicine. I incorporate this heavily. I am always open to learning something new,” Dr. Johnston says.
With so many people feeling like they’re jugging work, family, and daily living, Dr. Johnston encourages patients to look for balance for their overall wellbeing. “A well-balanced life is hard to achieve but being healthy is much easier when that balance can be found,” Dr. Johnston says.
Dr. Johnston graduated summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He completed medical school at the UC College of Medicine and his residency in family medicine at Bethesda North Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Medicine Physicians.
Dr. Johnston has four children and enjoys hiking and camping with his family. They also enjoy spirited games of Uno.
