Dr. LaMantia completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY), graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience. He then earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center (Brooklyn, NY). Dr. LaMantia then completed his internship and residency training at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (Baltimore, MD) and his internal medicine fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He also completed a research fellowship at Muscular Dystrophy Associations of America.

Dr. LaMantia holds certifications with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine. His areas of interest include emergency and urgent care, geriatric emergency medicine, and medical education.
