Angela Pollitt, CNP is a native to Cincinnati, Ohio. She began her career in healthcare in 1999 working in internal medicine. In 2000, she pursued her interest in emergency medicine by obtaining her emergency medical technician (EMT) certification. Angela has volunteered with her local fire department serving her community for the past 17 years where she is currently a paramedic.
Angela’s need for knowledge did not stop when she became an EMT. Angela furthered her career when she became a registered nurse (RN) in 2005 after obtaining her Associate of Applied Science and Bachelor of Nursing degrees from The University of Cincinnati. After working two years on a medical/surgical unit she transferred to the emergency department where she was promoted to a charge nurse.
Angela obtained her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Otterbein University, becoming an Advanced Practice RN. Angela is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She joined The Christ Hospital Physicians in Cincinnati, Ohio, in May 2017, with more than 12 years of nursing experience in hospital, urgent care and retail health settings.
