Pro Football Star Ted Karras Launches Limited-Edition Onesie & Hat for Father’s Day at The Christ Hospital

Karras’ Daughter was Born at the Mt. Auburn Birthing Center

Cincinnati (June 13, 2025) – Dads across the country will be celebrating their special day this weekend and so will parents at The Christ Hospital Health Network thanks to a special partnership with local football star, Ted Karras.

The Christ Hospital Health Network and Ted Karras’ Foundation, The Cincy Hat, are teaming up to celebrate Father’s Day in true Cincinnati fashion. On Sunday, June 15, every baby born at our Mt. Auburn and Liberty Birthing Centers will receive a limited-edition “Born to Love Cincy” Onesie along with a custom cap so dad can match in style. These newborn beanies are part of a brand new hat line from Cincy Hat.

"Our daughter was born at The Christ Hospital, so my wife Rachel and I experienced firsthand just how incredible the doctors, nurses and staff are,” said Ted Karras. “They treated us like family. We're proud to team up with the hospital again to create these new Cincy onesies and hats for all the new dads out there hopefully adding a little extra joy to an already unforgettable day."

Ted and his wife Rachel recently sat down with Valerie Allen, MD, OB/GYN at The Christ Hospital Health network to speak about their birthing experience. You can watch the interview here. Above is a photo of baby Lee Morgan son of Mason and Hope Morgan. Feel free to use them in your coverage.

The Cincy Hat raises funds for The Village of Merici, an Indianapolis-based community that provides inclusive housing and supportive services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Inspired by their model, The Cincy Hat is now launching its own housing initiative in Cincinnati to provide similar services locally. The project also funds full scholarships to the University of Cincinnati’s Transition and Access Pathways (TAP) program - a specialized four-year college experience for adults with IDD.

Last month, The Christ Hospital Health Network announced its new partnership with Ted Karras. As part of the collaboration, The Cincy Hat launched three versions of The Christ Hospital Health Network–themed hats with 100% of proceeds supporting the foundation’s mission.
