Four New Specialists Join Expanding Orthopedic Team at The Christ Hospital Health Network

Physicians Help Address Growing Demand for Advanced Orthopedic Care in Region

CINCINNATI (May 3, 2023) – The Christ Hospital Health Network is proud to announce the addition of four new physicians to our team of nationally recognized orthopedic specialists and surgeons. As segments of the population age in the Greater Cincinnati region, patients are seeking more orthopedic care from shoulder and elbow surgery to joint and spine pain.

Todd Kelley, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in reconstructive surgery and joint replacement. Dr. Kelley earned his Medical Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and his fellowship at St. Joseph Hospital in Towson, Maryland. Dr. Kelley comes to The Christ Hospital Health Network after more than 12 years at UC Health. He says he’s happy to meet the personal needs and goals for each individual patient and looks forward to continuing practicing medicine in Cincinnati. He provides care at The Christ Hospital Joint & Spine Center in Mt. Auburn and the Red Bank and Anderson outpatient centers.

Ellen Farr, MD, is a board-certified physician who specializes in physical medicine & rehabilitation and brain injury medicine. Dr. Farr has vast experience providing rehabilitative care to patients with brain and spine injuries and neurological diagnoses. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, her residency at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Chicago and her fellowship at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Dr. Farr is excited to return to Cincinnati after her latest training in Minnesota and to treat patients in her home community. She says she chose her profession because she enjoys improving the lives of those with neurological diagnoses. She currently provides care as the Associate Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation unit at The Christ Hospital main campus in Mt. Auburn.

Nicholas Godby, MD, is a board-certified physician who specializes in physical medicine & rehabilitation and brain injury medicine. Dr. Godby brings considerable expertise in neurorehabilitation. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and completed his residency at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He likes to approach healthcare holistically and makes sure a patient’s goals are aligned for better treatments and outcomes. Dr. Godby has been practicing medicine in the Cincinnati region for more than 10 years. He provides care at The Christ Hospital Joint & Spine Center in Mt. Auburn and at the Blue Ash and Liberty Township outpatient locations.

Namdar Kazemi, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Kazemi earned his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and his shoulder and elbow fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City with world renowned surgeon, Evan Flatow. Dr. Kazemi comes to The Christ Hospital Health Network after five years practicing in Aspen, Colo. and two years in Olympia, Wash. He treats patients at The Christ Hospital Joint & Spine Center in Mt. Auburn, as well as the Liberty Township, Red Bank and Green Township locations.
