The Christ Hospital Celebrating Patients’ Final Radiation Treatments with New Bell in Cancer Center

Bell will be rung for the First Time on Christmas Eve

Cincinnati (Dec. 23, 2015) – The Christ Hospital is helping cancer patients celebrate the end of radiation treatments with a new bell recently donated to the Cancer Center.  The bell will be rung by patients after their final radiation treatments at The Christ Hospital. The plaque and bell will be installed in the Cancer Center and rung for the first time by a patient on Christmas Eve.
The plaque and bell was donated by cancer survivor and Christ Hospital patient Tony Duggan. Duggan founded Project Peace, a Cincinnati based group devoted to helping patients with head and neck cancer. He finished his radiation treatment at The Christ Hospital in 2012 on Christmas Eve, and this Christmas Eve, a Christ Hospital patient will ring the bell for the first time celebrating the end of radiation treatment.
