Healthspirations staff recently sat down with general surgeon Jonathan Schilling, MD, for the 18th episode of FilMD, our doc-umentary series. Dr. Schilling told us where he grew up, his love/hate relationship with ice cream, why patients always need to ask questions, and why the answer to two of his questions was "the bassoon".
About Dr. Schilling
Dr. Schilling is a practicing general and laparoscopic surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of many types of illness including: Biliary and intestinal disease, Endocrine surgery (thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal), Cancer surgery and hernia repair. He utilizes current minimally invasive techniques to provide excellent care for his patients.
He likes to spend his free time cheering for the hometown teams including the Reds, Bengals and Bearcats. He and his wife are excited to bring their son to Cincinnati so they can share their love for this town with him. They enjoy patroning the arts, cooking, and traveling.
