Julianna Bort, DO, is a family medicine doctor with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care. She cares for patients of all ages with special interests in diabetes management, hypertension, natural family planning, mental health, migraines, pediatric care, and preventative care.
Dr. Bort grew up in Cincinnati with her five siblings. Both her parents are family physicians, as well as her older sister. “Growing up, I witnessed the joys of a family physician,” Dr. Bort says. “The combination of intellectual challenge and satisfying social interactions attracted me to follow in their footsteps.”
Her practice focuses on a holistic approach to disease prevention and helping her patients develop healthier lifestyles. “By engaging them on all levels, including physical, emotional, and spiritual, comprehensive and compassionate patient care can be better achieved,” Dr. Bort says.
Dr. Bort graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine with the Bethesda Family Medicine Residency program. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Catholic Medical Association.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bort enjoys music, podcasts, reading, travel, theatre, and tennis. You’ll find her sampling local cuisine and searching for the best Boba tea in town.
