Dr. England is a Cincinnati native and attended St. Xavier High School. He earned his bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Notre Dame and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Between his residency and fellowship, he spent two years working as a hospitalist at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.
His areas of interest include antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention, LGBTQ+ health, care of people living with HIV, and PrEP for HIV prevention.
Dr. England is a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and infectious diseases.
