Cincinnati (May 16, 2025) – For the ninth year in a row, The Christ Hospital Health Network has received the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades. This award recognizes hospitals that excel at providing top-quality care while ensuring a positive healthcare experience for patients. The Christ Hospital Health Network in the only system in Cincinnati to be awarded and one of only 14 in the state of Ohio.
This year’s recipients include 377 hospitals from 44 states and represent the top 15% of hospitals in the nation for patient experience. Healthgrades evaluated Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) patient survey data with a focus on ten key patient experience measures. Recipients of the 2025 Outstanding Patient Experience Award earned the highest overall experience scores, reflecting an unwavering commitment to prioritizing positive person-centered care.

As part of the 2025 analysis, Healthgrades identified three patient experience areas that best predict a patient’s likelihood to recommend a hospital to friends and family:
