In its report, 86% of women surveyed said they would travel up to 50 miles for a hospital that was rated best inpatient experience, according to a national survey of 1,000 respondents. The award of 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience is highlighted for exceptional outcomes and the patient’s willingness to recommend the hospital to a friend or family member. Other factors include doctor communications, staff help, cleanliness, providing recovery information, explanation of medications and communication by nurses.

The Christ Hospital ranked in the top 1% of hospitals for the following areas of care: obstetrics, heart care, orthopedics, cancer care, breast care, women's services and mammogram imaging.

The Christ Hospital additionally earned the 2025 Women’s Choice Award among the best hospitals for: patient safety (top 3%), minimally invasive surgery (top 3%) and stroke care (top 5%).

For its methodology, The Women’s Choice Award® uses the most recent publicly available information from The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as accreditation information from appropriate sources.
