Nicole Mullins DNP, RN, ANP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Heart & Vascular who specializes in the prevention, management, and treatment of heart disease. She provides care for patients at the Mt. Auburn location.
Nicole has a passion for driving meaningful change at both the patient and the system levels. This includes a commitment to driving quality-improvement strategies that promote health equity and expand access to high-quality healthcare. It also involves a patient-centered approach to providing care and empowering her patients to make informed decisions to make a lasting impact on their own health.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Northern Kentucky University where she where she led a hospital-based quality improvement project focused on managing valvular heart disease in individuals who use intravenous drugs. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Outside of providing care, Nicole is active in community efforts toward improving health equity in Greater Cincinnati through education and volunteerism. She has presented on community health issues at multiple conferences and has volunteered her expertise numerous community clinics and health fairs.
