Dr. Robert Cody grew up in Florence, Kentucky, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Botany, graduating from the University of Louisville. He then obtained his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Cody then relocated to the University of Michigan, where he completed his internal medicine residency and the fellowships in Hematology and Oncology. After training, Dr. Cody became the director of the outpatient Hematology and Oncology clinics at the University of Michigan. There, he directed the Hematology and Oncology training program and was a founding member of the Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Clinic.
Dr. Cody and his family returned to the Cincinnati area with his wife and four sons. He was in private practice until 2010, when the practice group joined The Christ Hospital Health Network. Here, he has been a member of the multidisciplinary breast program since its inception.
Dr. Cody is a medical oncologist with special interests in breast cancer and colorectal cancer. He sees patients at the mt. Auburn, Red Bank, and Mason offices.
