Dr. Bellamy earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati before going on to UC's College of Medicine for his medical degree. His postgraduate training was done in obstetrics and gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, and in anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky, where he spent six months in subspecialty training in pain management.
In 10 years with Comprehensive Anesthesia, PSC, Dr. Bellamy practiced at St. Luke and Bethesda Hospitals. Concurrently, he served as medical director of the Pain Care Institute, Ltd. He joined AAC and PMA in 1999. He currently serves as the director of our interventional pain practice through PMA and sits on the board of directors of AAC.
A fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, Dr. Bellamy is a diplomate of the American Boards of Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He remains active in several professional societies.
