Eben De Matteo, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with The Christ Hospital Physicians who specializes in spine surgery care. He sees patients at the Blue Ash and Liberty Township locations and at the Joint & Spine Center in Mt. Auburn.
Eben chose a career in medicine because of a desire to alleviate others’ pain so that they could pursue a meaningful and fulfilling life. He puts the patient at the center of his approach to care with a multidisciplinary approach that encompasses the expertise of his team and the needs and preferences of the patient. “There is no ‘one size fits all’ treatment, and I believe every patient is unique,” he says.
Eben earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Mount St. Joseph University, and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Kettering College of Medical Arts. He is certified by the National Board on the Certficiation of Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Eben enjoys traveling with his wife to experience new cultures and cuisines. “Japan is by far our favorite destination,” he adds. He also enjoys gardening and reading.
