Neha Jeirath, MD, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians who specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology. She provides care for women at the Eastgate and Southgate locations.
Her motivation to become a doctor emerged early. In childhood, she watched her aunt, an OB/GYN, deliver vital care to many women who lived in their small town. She always considered pursuing a career in obstetrics and gynecology herself, and after completing her medical school rotation she fell in love with the specialty and realized providing lifelong care to women was her passion.
Dr. Jeirath embraces a patient-centered approach to care that empowers women to contribute to their individualized care plans. “It’s important to realize that every patient has their own unique set of circumstances,” she says. “Being able to meet them where they are from the start will improve long-term outcomes.”
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and her Medical Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she served as administrative chief and received the Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon award.
Dr. Jeirath is certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology (ACOG). She is also an ACOG Fellow.
In her free time, Dr. Jeirath enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time with her husband, two sons and their dog.
