Alexandra Holmes, CNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care. She specializes in family medicine and provides care to patients of all ages at the Anderson location.
Alexandra has always had a passion for helping others, which led to her pursuing a career in medicine. “One thing that consistently brings me joy is helping to make someone's day better, even if only for a moment,” she says.
Her care philosophy is focused on establishing an environment in which patients feel safe and in control of their own healthcare. “As a healthcare provider, my role is to present patients with their care options and to help them determine what is best for them,” she says. “My goal is to implement a holistic approach to help each patient live their life to its fullest extent.” She encourages her patients to be their own advocates and to be open and honest when discussing their health and to always be willing to ask questions.
Alexandra has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She is a lifelong athlete, including collegiate softball. She and her husband enjoy travelling, attending FC Cincinnati matches as season ticket holders and spending time with their dogs.
