CINCINNATI (February 25, 2026) – The Christ Hospital has been recognized as one of Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026 List for the eighth consecutive year. The Christ Hospital specifically ranked 86 out of more than 400 hospitals in the United States and was the highest ranked hospital in Greater Cincinnati.
More than 2,500 hospitals were evaluated for this year’s rankings. The list is intended to be a resource to help patients make more informed and data-driven decisions when choosing the right hospital for their medical needs. You can find the full list here.

Newsweek and Statista developed a rigorous methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. A global board of medical experts certifies the continuous development and scope of the project. Four data sources were used for the evaluation:
•Recommendations from Medical Experts: Including doctors, hospital managers and other healthcare professionals
•Patient Experience: Surveys of patient satisfaction with hospitalization
•Hospital Quality Metrics: Medical indicators (e.g., data on quality of care for treatments, hygiene measures, patient safety and waiting times)
•PROMs Implementation: Statista online survey on implementation and use of Patient-Reported Outcome Measures Implementation in hospitals
