Dr. Ernst and his team at the interventional spine clinic provide comprehensive and patient-centered care using the latest in non-operative treatments to meet each patient’s individual needs. His team includes a scheduler, registered nurses and a certified physician assistant who provide each patient with a full range of coordinated care. “It’s a detail-oriented team of providers who work together in order to provide excellent patient care and service,” he says.
They have specialized training to help alleviate spine and back pain through procedures including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency ablations, kyophoplasties, Intracept (basivertebral nerve ablation), and CT guided procedures (including SI joint injections, greater occipital nerve injections, piriformis injections and synovial cyst ruptures).
Dr. Ernst completed his undergraduate studies with honors at Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH. He earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine then completed his internship at The Christ Hospital. He then relocated to New York, NY, for his diagnostic radiology residency at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, where he served as chief resident in his final year. He then returned to Ohio to complete the neuroradiology fellowship program at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Department of Radiology.
