Justin Hawk, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with The Christ Hospital Health Network who specializes in orthopedic care. He provides same-day care for patients at the Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic in Montgomery. He has about 10 years of experience as a physician assistant, with 3 ½ in emergency medicine, and the rest providing orthopedic care.
He was inspired to pursue a career in orthopedics by a lifelong interest in anatomy and physiology and by his experience as a high school athlete seeking treatment for injuries in athletic training rooms or surgeons’ offices.
Justin prioritizes being an empathetic listener when providing care. This helps him to fully understand each patient’s unique needs so he can effectively educate them on their diagnosis and treatment options so they can come to a mutual decision on their best approach and next steps toward recovery.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Health & Sport Studies from Miami University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Toledo. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his wife and their three kids. They especially enjoy exploring local parks and playing outside. He enjoys cooking, especially outdoors, and listening to music and playing his guitar. He is a diehard fan of the Reds and Bengals, as well as Cincinnati’s local breweries and restaurants.
