Dr. Mark Berlacher completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained his MD in his hometown at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. Following this, he completed an Internal Medicine residency at Indiana University, where he met his wife. He was awarded the W.J. Daly Outstanding Internal Medicine Resident of 2017 and stayed for an additional year in Indianapolis to serve as a chief resident.
He completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas and was awarded the Jo Ann McWhorter Fellow of the year for graduating fellows.
Dr. Berlacher comes from a long line of cardiologists, including his grandfather, father, and sister. He loves the practice of cardiology and having the opportunity to get to know his patients.
During his free time, Dr. Berlacher enjoys playing basketball, Peloton, vegetarian cooking, listening to NPR, watching Wisconsin Badger sports, and spending time with family. He and his wife have two children, a son and a daughter.
