Dr. Griffin is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in all aspects of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery. He is a native of northern Virginia. He completed his undergraduate education and masters degree in biostatistics at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. His graduate education was supported by a training grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. He completed medical school at Duke University followed by training in internal medicine at Northwestern University and cardiothoracic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina.
