The Christ Hospital Health Network is pleased to announce we have been named to Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2022 list for Cardiology. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The complete list can be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
“We are honored to be included on Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2022 list,” said Dean Kereiakes, MD, FACC, FSCAI, President of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute. “This distinction recognizes our dedication to providing the highest quality, leading-edge care for our community and to serve as a national destination for sub-specialty heart and vascular care as well as clinical research trials.”
“For more than 130 years, The Christ Hospital Health Network has had a mission of delivering the highest quality of care coupled with exceptional patient experiences. This distinction is one more recognition of the efforts of our Heart and Vascular team’s commitment to those goals, said Debbie Hayes, President and CEO of The Christ Hospital Health Network. “We are committed to growing the scope and expertise of the services that we offer into the future and will accomplish that with the help of this incredible team who works together every day, with shared determination, to provide the very best care for all members of the Greater Cincinnati Community.”
The World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2022 ranking identifies the best hospitals that specialize in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Oncology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Paediatric & Adolescent Medicine, Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, and Pulmonology.
Newsweek and Statista invited more than 40,000 medical experts including doctors, hospital managers, and health care professionals, in over 20 different countries —to participate in online surveys that allowed them to recommend and assess various hospitals within their respective specializations. The results of the survey were then validated by a global board of renowned medical experts.
“While we’ve come to be known as Greater Cincinnati’s Heart Hospital, receiving honors like this from our medical peers across the world, I believe speaks volumes of the incredible dedication and strength of our team of physicians, clinicians and staff who work together every day to provide the very best care for members of the Greater Cincinnati Community and beyond,” said Dr. Tom O’Brien, Medical Director of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute.
