Dr. Snyder is a Cincinnati native and is board-certified in colorectal surgery and general surgery. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati. He completed general surgery training in Cincinnati at Good Samaritan Hospital and received his colorectal fellowship training at the Georgia Colon and Rectal Surgical Clinic in Atlanta.
He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati and has practiced at The Christ Hospital, the University of Cincinnati and at the VA Medical Center since 2013.
Dr. Snyder specializes in all aspects of colorectal surgery, including benign abdominal disease (diverticulitis, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), malignant disease (colon cancer, rectal cancer and anal cancer) as well as pelvic floor disease, anorectal disease and fecal incontinence. He has vast experience in minimally invasive (laparoscopic and robotic) and open approaches.
