Sara Pulskamp, CNP, CWOCN is a certified nurse practitioner with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Colon & Rectal surgery with extensive experience in providing care to patients with colon and rectal conditions, including ongoing care for those who undergo colorectal surgery. She sees patients at the Mt. Auburn and Liberty Township locations.
Sara has provided care as a certified nurse practitioner for more than 15 years. She has more than 20 years of experience in providing care for colorectal surgery patients and more than 15 years of experience as a wound, ostomy, & continence nurse. She also has extensive experience working with pelvic floor patients, including sacral nerve stimulation in the treatment of fecal incontinence, chronic constipation.
Her approach to providing care focusses on taking the time to listen to the patient and work side by side with them to reach an accurate diagnosis and develop the best plan to manage their concerns. She emphasizes the importance of proactive measures to lower the chance of a recurrence and promote better long-term outcomes.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Evansville University and a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University. She also earned a certification in wound ostomy continence nursing from the Rubert Turnbull School of Enterostomy Therapy at the Cleveland Clinic. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and she is a member of the Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Society.
