As an Adult Gerontology NP, Melinda Sheppard specializes in Electrophysiology with emphasis in atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and cardiac device management.
She completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelors of Science in Nursing at University of Hawaii in Manoa, Hawaii; and her graduate degree in Masters in Nursing at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky. She joined Ohio Heart and Vascular practice in 2004.
She was born and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and was drawn to Cardiology. She has works in cardiology since graduating with her Nursing degree. She has worked telemetry, Open Heart recovery and ICU prior to joining Ohio Heart and Vascular Center. She obtained her Certified Nurse Practitioner degree and continued to work for the electrophysiology Department with The Christ Hospital Cardiovascular Department.
She has two daughters ages 13 and 9.
Melinda Sheppard goes by Mindy. She played College basketball and loves sports. Weekends find her running her girls to their athletic events. She also enjoys coaching her daughters.
