Dr. Keyes is co-director of The Christ Hospital Health & Aging Center. He is board-certified in both internal medicine and geriatrics. He is passionate about helping elderly patients cope with age-related health conditions.
He received his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, doctorate in biochemistry, and medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He then completed his internal medicine residency at The Christ Hospital and a joint geriatric fellowship program at The Christ Hospital and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
"The Center for Health and Aging relies on a model of care that takes a proactive approach to disease management of the older adult," explains Dr. Keyes. "By anticipating complications that might arise in the early course of a disease, we hope to avoid hospitalization or placement in a nursing home."
In his spare time, Dr. Keyes is a youth and adult education teacher at the Village Church of Mariemont, chairman of the Mariemont Civic Association, and Mariemont's Town Crier.
