Marc C. Schneider, MD, is board certified in both orthopedic surgery and orthopedic sports medicine. He specializes in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery of the shoulder, knee and elbow. He is skilled in robotic surgery, customized joint implants and partial and total joint replacements.
Prioritizing a hands-on approach to patient care, Dr. Schneider makes himself openly available to answer patients’ questions or concerns both before and after surgery. “Sometimes patients are surprised when I personally call them back if they leave a message with the office. I want my patients to understand they always have open lines of communication with me,” he says.
Dr. Schneider earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his orthopedic surgery training residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Frequently honored as a Top Doctor by both Cincinnati Magazine and Castle Connolly, Dr. Schneider is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. A recipient of the Venue magazine healthcare leadership award, he has lectured nationally on orthopedic surgical techniques.
In his free time, Dr. Schneider is an avid tennis player. He also enjoys reading, traveling, conducting DIY projects at home and spending time with his wife and three grown children.
