Dr. Lippert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio; spending his first five years in Pleasant Plain, Ohio. This was followed by a family move to Wilmington, Ohio; where he spent his childhood and early adulthood. After graduating from The Ohio State University, he attended The University of Cincinnati, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine Degree. A one year as a rotating internship with The University of Cincinnati (previously known as General Hospital) followed. He then entered the United States Air Force and served two years, stationed at the Grissom Air Force base, Indiana.

Following his Air Force commitment, he continued his education with residency in The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, at The University of Cincinnati Medical Center. After completing his residency, he returned to Wilmington, Ohio, and practiced for two years only to return to Cincinnati and joined The Christ Hospital. At that point in time, he was honored to be in the office of a senior gynecologist, George B. Haydon, MD. He has continued to practice fulltime at The Christ Hospital.

For approximately fifteen years of his career, he practiced Obstetrics and currently is specializing in Gynecology and Gynecological Surgery. He has a special interest in the vaginal approach to hysterectomy as well as treatment of hormonal issues, menopause, osteoporosis, and endometriosis. He is currently a member of both the Medical Education Committee and for a short time served as a member of the Ethics Committee and the Institutional Review Board.

Dr. Lippert is married to Lynn D. Lippert, RN, a native of Valley Stream, New York. They have seven children and currently seventeen grandchildren.
