Dr. Lisa S. Lestina performed her undergraduate studies at Duke University, where she graduated with honors. She then attended Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She subsequently completed her residency (including an extra year as chief resident) in internal medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. Dr. Lestina continued her training at Dartmouth, completing a fellowship in gastroenterology. She is board-certified in gastroenterology. She practices general gastroenterology and hepatology with special interests in colorectal cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, and women’s health. Dr. Lestina is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Lestina is a mother of two and an avid runner and fitness enthusiast.
