Korey Haddox, DO, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Heart & Vascular who specializes in interventional cardiology. He provides care for patients at the Mt. Auburn, Green Township, Liberty Township, and Montgomery locations.
He was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his grandfather, who had a family medicine practice in a rural community. “Watching him treat a wide range of medical illnesses and conditions was a big inspiration for me,” Dr. Haddox says. “I’ve always enjoyed solving problems and working with patients and their families to provide the best healthcare possible.”
Dr. Haddox believes in a comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centered approach to providing care with a focus on promoting overall health and wellness to help his patients achieve their goals. He integrates cutting edge technology and the latest cardiovascular research with comprehensive care from other members of his team.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Kenyon College and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and a fellowship in interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital. He is certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
In his free time, Dr. Haddox enjoys spending time with his wife and their children. He is an avid sports fan and former collegiate basketball player who enjoys watching basketball, football, and golf.
