David Ross Jr., M.D., is a board-certified physician with the Christ Hospital Health Network who specializes in Family Medicine and provides care at The Christ Hospital Urgent Care locations.
Dr. Ross developed a strong interest in the human body and all of its complexities at a young age, which inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. His care philosophy is a commitment to treating each patient with empathy and respect. “A provider should care for each individual with the same level of care they would expect during an illness or injury,” he says.
He advises patients to pay attention when their bodies may be trying to tell them something. “Always take care of yourself by teaming up with a medical professional when your health status changes,” he says. “Early evaluations for issues can lead to much better outcomes when it comes to our long-term overall health.”
Dr. Ross earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from Central State University and his Medical Degree from the Wright State University School of Medicine. He completed his residency with the Toledo Hospital Family Practice Residency Program. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and children hiking and traveling to find new places to explore and creating lifelong memories to treasure.
