Ivy Dang, DO, is a board-eligible physician who specializes in family medicine with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care. She provides care to patients of all ages at the Liberty Township location on Cox Rd. and has a special interest and additional training in lifestyle medicine to help her patients be proactive in achieving their best health.
Dr. Dang was inspired to pursue a career as a primary care physician after seeing the impact on her mother’s health of struggling to navigate the healthcare system and gain access to quality care – especially primary care. She uses that inspiration to build a relationship with her patients based on trust and respect. “My goal is to use my expertise to work as an advocate, advisor, and educator to each of my patients,” she says. “It’s a team-based focus through which the patient and I can come to a shared decision.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in both Biology and Integrative Biology and Physiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She earned her degree in Osteopathic Medicine from Touro University in Nevada and completed her residency in family medicine at Kettering Health. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
In her free time, Dr. Dang enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She also enjoys running, biking, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and trying new foods. She met her husband when they participated in theater and they enjoy attending Broadway shows in Cincinnati.
