Robert Sibilia, MD, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Heart & Vascular who specializes in General Cardiology. He sees patients at the Montgomery and Liberty Township locations.
He credits his parents for inspiring him to pursue a career in medicine and for supporting and motivating him through medical school and residency, especially his father, who is also a physician. “I saw how my dad took care of his patients and the appreciation they had for his care and found that inspirational,” he says. He takes a patient-centered approach in his practice with a focus on education and empowering patients to make the best decisions for themselves and their family.
Dr. Sibilia earned a Bachelor of Science from the Ohio State University in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California at Berkley. He completed his Medical Degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was honored to be named Researcher of the Year during his residency and Chief Fellow of the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the Ohio Chapter of the American College of Cardiology.
A native of Wooster, OH, Dr. Sibilia met his wife, who is also a physician, during medical school in Cincinnati. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family and his dog. He enjoys sports and is an avid college football fan.
