Prashant Morolia, MD, is a board-certified physician with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care who specializes in family medicine. He provides care for patients of all ages at the Mason location.
Dr. Morolia is proud to be the only doctor in a family with generations of businessmen. He was inspired at a young age to pursue a career in medicine by watching his father struggle with a chronic illness. “I was determined to help and protect my family and to extend that care to the community,” he says.
He holds a strong belief in the moral obligation to be completely truthful with his patients about their condition and treatment options. He says his years of learning and expertise give him the confidence to help his patients decide what is best for their individual needs and he values the trust that they have for him in his role. In return, he strives to be empathetic, honest, and professional with them and to provide them with the highest quality of care. He urges his patients to always be proactive in their health and to never hesitate to seek help when they need it.
Dr. Morolia earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at the University of North Dakota Center for Family Medicine, and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
When not providing care, Dr. Morolia loves spending time with his wife and their two beautiful children. They especially enjoy trying new restaurants as a family. He is proud to claim the responsibility of his wife’s personal gardener, handyman, and travel companion.
