Amanda Jude, DO, is a family medicine doctor with The Christ Hospital Physicians – Primary Care. She cares for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
She has a particular interest in the care of older patients (ages 60+) including wellness, routine physicals, healthy aging and chronic disease management such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and memory loss.
Dr. Jude was inspired to work in geriatric medicine by her grandparents and church community who taught her to value the important role older adults play in our lives. “Their care tends to be complex, but it’s an opportunity to focus on what their goals are,” Dr. Jude says.
“I wish to have open conversations with my patients and their families about their care options. Our mission is to keep you happy, healthy and safe,” Dr. Jude says.
Dr. Jude graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. She completed medical school at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and her family medicine residency at Adena Regional Medical Center in Dublin, Ohio. She completed her fellowship in geriatric medicine with The Christ Hospital / University of Cincinnati.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jude is an avid reader whose favorite genres include fantasy, sci-fi, and non-fiction history. She has two dogs, Leia and Padme, and enjoys spending time with family.
